NBC Exclusive Interviews

A Journey Through American Cinema (2013)

Originally recorded as part of the NBC Studio Universal series "A Journey Through American Cinema" these are my exclusive interviews with some of the most significant and original filmmakers of their generation.
Since the original broadcasts in the mini-documentary "Inside VCA" format, the interviews were extended and repurposed for Studio Universal's "Cinechat" format which replaces the interviewer with questions presented as on-screen text. The series included interviews with Ellen Burstyn, Tim Burton, Michael Cimino, Kevin Costner, Jonathan Demme, Danny DeVito, Milos Forman, Richard Gere, Terry Gilliam, Lee Grant, Ethan Hawke, James Ivory, Jim Jarmusch, Martin Landau, Sidney Lumet, David Lynch, Sydney Pollack, Todd Solondz, Meryl Streep and John Turturro.
